What more can be said of this modern Mystic and Guru. Cheryl Simoni does her best to bring out the mystery and wisdom that emanates from this spiritual teacher of many. True to form, when he answers a question, another rises in your mind. Cheryl is no different and asks the kind of questions that arose in my mind. This great Being is so modern and unique but contains the wisdom of the ancients. He explains ancient wisdom in a way that modern man can relate to. He is great at disturbing the fixed mindsets that we all have. We like to think that we know, but he reveals to us that we do not know, which creates a longing and thirst for spiritual knowledge in us. That is his goal. He rightly explains to us that Yoga is an ancient technology that is suitable for use by all.

It was hard to put this book down! One could easily identify with Cheryl in her search for spirituality and a realized Master. I read this book end-to-end in just 2 days. It's been long since I read a book this fast. I found it interesting and thought provoking.
A seeker's journey written in a fiction-style. When you are read a novel, you read about the bodily-conception of life (like sex, suspense, jealousy, revenge, romance, etc). But, this book casually takes you into a journey to a higher level of dimension that is beyond physical, mental and emotional aspects of live - from being/doing good to day-to-day activities(like eating, sleeping, reproducing, defending) and makes you realize the eternal truth / ultimate knowledge about your own SELF.

This is a great story about the author's search for some real truths in life, a search that most people embark on and then give up on because it's hard to find those answers. It's reassuring to know that those answers can be found by everyone in society today, and while carrying on with "normal" life at the same time!

I bought this book while in the presence of Sadhguru and Cheryl Simone for the May book promotion and signing in Atlanta. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down! It is well written and covers spiritual concepts in a very easy-to-understand manner. Very enjoyable and educational. Cheryl Simone writes in a very down-to-earth, friendly, personal manner, and one walks away from reading this book feeling as though they were indeed sitting at the campfire with Sadhguru and Cheryl during their midnight talks! I got this volume on a Tuesday thats almost in the the middle of the work week and after dinner that day I was just browsing through it before going to bed. But then I just got caught up in it and before I realized hours have passed by and I have read it from one cover to another.
Well rarely does a book come to ones hands which is like a bright flash light on ones own life!! This book is the story of a simple woman named Cheryl and her encounter with an extraordinary man Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. Cheryl is your next door well to do american business woman, whose only difference with ordinary folk like me is that she knew that she was looking for something. She had a great life and she was happy with it. Great marriage, a loving son, a successful and interesting business. She had it all.But at times alas, even everything is not enough to stop one from asking "is this all there is to life?". Well this is a dangerous question to ask for it takes you through paths you might not have walked otherwise. But Cheryl asked this question and the Universe answered. Now how does the Universe answer such deeply asked questions? Usually it answers with a person who through various means shows you the path. You understand that questions like this have to be lived to be answered, mere words do no justice in answering them.
After she met Sadhguru, and undertook the programs of inner transformation, she knew she was onto something which shall ultimately lead her to some place where her seeking shall be resolved but her curiosity was boundless. She got a chance to spend some time with Sadhguru when he came and stayed at her beautiful lake house and it was here she had the chance to satisfy her tremendous desire to know. She conversed at length with Sadhguru and he answered, often by not answering the question she asked but the question that she had (dont we often know this feeling?) inside her. So what we have is a series of conversations with one of the most accessible realized masters and one of his more perceptive students (well are we all not students before the master?) which is free flowing like a mountain stream. It serves to cool, satisfy and even invigorate ones inner self just like a mountain stream.
