• It's Easy
  Plug and play easy. I bought this for my mom (93 years old) and it was easy to set up. Good buttons. Easy for her to understand. She's practically deaf, but can still hear the beep if there's a message waiting. That surprised me as it's not overly loud so it must be a the right pitch. Good volume controls. • Not pleased
  I bought this phone because I had a Uniden phone that worked well but wanted one with an answering machine. On speaker phone, which is the way I prefer to (try to) use it, it cuts out terribly where I cannot carry on a conversation without having the other party repeat things. Off speaker phone, the other party says that I cut out. This is 15 feet from the base. I would return it but it is now in many small pieces due to my intolerance for things that do not function correctly....more info

• Don't buy this phone
  This phone is awful. Save your money and buy something else. I don't have high expectations for phones - they just need to work. This one had terrible reception. Constant buzzing and hissing and would drop calls. It's like having a cell phone near a dead zone but it was my landline and I was never far from the base. Also, the handset is awkward and clunky. It tends to hang up if you are doing chores and try to talk without holding the handset for a moment or two. ...more info

• Works....for 20 minutes
  The phone and answering machine work well....until they don't. We do not know if it is because the phone sat on a shelf at Amazon for a few years before we received it or what, but the battery seems to have a 20-minute lifespan, not the 6-hours the manual claims it does/should. After 20 minutes of use we cannot hear those we're speaking to and they can't hear us. Recharging fixes the problem, but only for another 20 minutes. We should not be having to buy a new battery for a 2-month old phone, and thus we cannot recommend this product even though all other features seem to work well....more info
• After two weeks of usage, it says unavailable
  I bought this phone and found that after two weeks, I couldn't make/receive any calls with this phone. The light flashes and it shows connecting and then says "Unavailable". I have made sure telephone jack line is connected. The phone rings but cannot accept calls and cannot make calls.
