Product Description

The Panasonic KX-TGA570S Panasonic 5.8GHz Accessory Handset lets you expand your ability to speak on the phone. The 5.8GHz frequency-hopping spread spectrum technology operates on a different wavelength with much less traffic than 2.4 GHz technology. It maintains the great security, incredible clarity and long range of that lower frequency technology. The visual ringer lights up when someone's calling, so you can turn off the ringer and enjoy your quiet time without missing important calls. With Call-Waiting Caller ID, you can find out who's calling, even if you're on the other line. This Gigarange accessory handset works with Panasonic KX-TG5761S and KX-TG5771S expandable cordless phone systems. Light-Up ID Customized Ringer Light-Up Indicatorwith Ringer/Message Alert Icon Operation Voice Enhancer Technology Replacement Battery - HHR-P104

An additional handset for expandable 5.8 GHz Panasonic systems, the KX-TGA570S is compatible with both the KX-TG5771S and the KX-TG5761S system models. Like the base systems, the cordless handset utilizes 5.8 GHz Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum technology, meaning that it operates on a different wavelength with much less traffic than the 2.4 GHz technology while maintaining the great security, incredible clarity and long range. Have a wireless computer network, or thinking about getting one? 5.8 GHz technology will not interfere with wireless networks such as 802.11b or 802.11g WiFi.

Put the Phone Down While You Talk
When you've been on hold for ten minutes, do you really need to hold the phone? Not with the handset speakerphone. Just listen along, and press a button or pick up when it's convenient. You'll think up other great uses, like letting Grandma and Grandpa listen to their new grandchild at the same time, painting your nails as you talk to your best friend, or just being able to set the phone down while you talk.

Expand Your Options
The handset offers you access to a full range of features supplied by your base system, including a 50-station phone book, Caller ID (with subscription to local service), and depending on your base system model, the ability to process answering system messages and record memos.

What's in the Box:

Customer Reviews:

  • awesome phone
I have only had the phone a month so far, so I cant rate long range use--but so far we love this phone. It works great and is super easy to use. I love that you can record your own ringtone, we have one set for our most regular callers and can then tell if we want to answer the phone or not. All of our friends who have heard the phone do this, think it is so cool. I don't really have any complaints other than I wish it was shock and splash resistant like the other model we have but I guess you cant have everything....overall a great phone....more info
  • Terrific Phones
I purchased the base phone and 1 expansion two years ago. I just love them! I love the talking caller id which is why I bought them. They have many cool features like ringtones and you can upload pictures into them. I loved these phones so much I just bought 3 more. Now I have 5 phones one in every room. I was not disappointed in fact I recommend this Panasonic phone system highly. They are on sale now and I may buy a couple more!...more info

  • works well, no problems
We bought the base for this about a year ago and now have added 3 extra handsets and will add a fourth. We've had no problems with it as we have had with multiple phones in the past with noise and clarity. The intercom feature is very nice and useful. It has a lot of bells and whistles that I have not taken the time to mess with setting up (customized rings, etc...), but basic set up is easy and I'm very glad we chose this system. ...more info
  • Interference
I plan to purchase this product, I just want to know if im goin to have a problem if the next house have the same system?

  • Good product, poor battery life.
I work from home and use the phone for 8-10 hours each day. I had one of these units with the base and the battery would last for about 4.5 hours. I purchased two more thinking it would be a great way to get through my day, just swap one for the other when the battery started getting low. However the two units that arrived only hold a charge for 2 hours. What happened?...more info
  • Great phones!!!
I purchased five of these along with the base unit and couldn't be happier. I only wish I wouldn't known about the alternate handsets that have bigger buttons, a higher volume and hearing aid control for my aging mother. I didn't know they existed until after my purchase. The base unit is not available with the alternate handset. Regardless, I did much research before settling on this phone and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended!...more info
  • GREAT PRODUCT & SELLER

  • New phone system
It seems like a pretty nice system. Had my old phone for 25 years, and a bunch of other misc. phones scattered around the house. So decided to get a whole new system.....have the base unit on my desk and 4 other handsets scattered around the house, and one handset out in the shop. They all work fine and work very well as an intercom system also. I am pleased with them....more info
  • Just what I expected....
Once upon a time, my roommates and I had a Panasonic phone that had fallen into a 5 gallon bucket of liquid laundry soap. We took it apart, dried it off, put it back together and it continued to work for another 3 years!! This is just the kind of quality that I have come to expect from Panasonic and that's just what I got in this handset. I bought this handset to expand my Panasonic Gigarange base unit. The personalized ringtone feature was an added bonus. With flexibility, quality, reliability, and ease-of-use, this is the phoneset for me. Take it from somone who works for a telecommunications company.... your service is only as good as your equipment and this is the best quality equipment on the market!...more info
  • Just ok...
I have 6 of these as I bought into the system a few years ago. They go bad easily. Batteries stop holding a charge, the speakers tend to go bad. The intercom is always nice. The shared phonebook feature is odd. You have to push a list to each of the other phones. Can't turn off ringer light. The answering machine options are non-standard and can get you to wipe out your message when dialing in remotely to check messages. Lots of little poor design features but overall the phone has some good features and it works ok....more info
