Customer Reviews:

  • We recommend the Miracle Blade III knives
For approximately $25.00 total, I was very pleased with this purchase. The knives are very sharp, and pretty substanstial. We have used most of them, except the large chopper. Cooking for just two retired folks, doesn't really require much chopping! Time will tell how they will hold up, but they are definitely a bargain. We have some expensive knives, but with the trials of age, it is a chore to keep them sharpened....more info
  • NOT the sharpest knife in the drawer!!
I got a set of these for my birthday. I was thrilled. For about 10 minutes. The knives worked fine the first couple of times I used them. Do not put them in a dishwasher, they will rust! The filet knife is shaped wonderfully but it will not hold an edge. I used it for cutting unfrozen raw boneless beef. The chop and scoop larger flat knife was my favorite. I was very disappointed when, one day I was 'scooping' up some onions I had sliced and the blade broke in half!!!
I would not waste my money on these....more info
  • Good and Bad
Bought my set 2.5 years ago, and while the quality is not great, the knives work great.

Pros: For the price (approx 25-30 dollars for the set) these knives can't be beat. I just bought another set to replace the wear and tear listed below. $30 and used the set for 30 months...can't beat it. The Rock/Chop, Bread knive, Scissors and Steak Knives get a daily workout at my house.

Cons: These knives WILL rust. However, the Rock Chop and Bread knives have not rusted.I don't take care of my steak knives very well, leave the steak knives in water glasses in the sink (I put them in the dishwasher too..) and broke the scissor handles doing something stupid. The little button decals came off the first month. Don't even bother contacting customer service, it is TERRIBLE.

Yes, I bought a second set.
I'm sure I could spend $200 to $300 dollars and get an awesome set I will never have to repair or replace, but at a dollar a month(my cost to use before replacing....) I can't see spending the extra money. These knives REALLY work great....more info
  • Rusty knives and worse customer service
I got these knives as a gift. Ironically, the first thing to rust was the part of each knife stamped "Stainless Steel".

Let's be realistic. These knives are cheap. They're thin and they're not well weighted. However, they say stainless steel, and you figure that that's what you're getting. I hand-washed these knives and dried them immediately, but they still corroded.

Now comes the bad part. I wrote to their customer service department twice and didn't hear back. I finally got their address (from the post office) and sent them back the knives. It took three months of me emailing and calling them (with 15+ minute wait times for Each Call) to get them to send me a replacement set.

The replacement set rusted in about two weeks. That was in September. I just got off the phone with Miracle Blade, a call during which I was interrupted so many times that I actually had to say "I'm going to finish my sentence" so their rep would stop talking. They won't refund my money. In fact, they won't refund Anyone's money after 30 days. The lifetime warranty is for replacement only. They'll send me another set of soon-to-be-rusty knives, of course--if I pay the shipping and handling...Again. I asked the rep for his full name, for his ID#, and for a manager, and he refused all requests.

In summary, if you buy these knives, they will rust. You will want to get rid of them. Your only option will be the garbage can....more info
  • Good care is the key!
People just don't understand that you have to take care of the merchandise you buy! I have bought 2 sets of Miracle blades over the past 7 years and they still work great. The key is to take care of your product! The people that are complaining about rust are the people that probably leave it sitting in water in the sink for too long! There is a fine line between "stainless" and "rust-proof". I wash my Miracle Blades and dry them as soon as I'm done using them and they still look brand new! I use them almost everyday. I'm considering buying another set as a gift! In conclusion, definitely the best knives I've ever purchased. If there's something better out there please let us know but for now I'm sticking with the Miracle Blade!!...more info

We love these knives at our house. They are sharp and hold their sharpness. Also, they are good looking knives with black, sturdy handles....more info

  • Worth the money!
My husband bought these for me on a whim, and I love them. They are the best set of knives I have ever used. I cut things quicker and easier with them....more info
  • Sad Sad Knives
My husband got me these knives after years of watching the infomercials and doing research online. The only negative that kept coming up, was that they rust, though they claim to be "stainless steal". There were also countless reviews raving about how wonderful the knives were and how they never rusted. Well, I took very good care of these knives, washed them by hand, dried them right away and stored them properly. I got the knives 11/2008. Around 3/2009 I started to notice some spots on them. 5/2009 I notice the spots are covering more of the blade and getting larger. These spots are RUST! I was ever so mad! Also, these knives are not weighted well. The metal does not run through the handle, as it should in a good knife, it stops where the heal of the blade and the handle starts. I had also bought an OXO Good Grips Santuko Knife, this knife is much better balanced then the Miracle Blade knives. I am going to attempt to return the Miracle Blade Knives. I hope I don't run into any problems. I was considering getting a set for my Mother, but she said if they are unbalanced and rusting, don't bother. I am disappointed, however.. you get what you pay for. When you are buying knives, don't be cheap, spend the money for a good set. You won't regret it! ...more info
  • Couln't live without them.
I bought these knives off of tv when they were advertising them. The knives are great. The Rock n Chop is my favorite. Everyone who cooks needs these. Plus, they have a lifetime warranty!! You will not be sorry if you purchase them....more info
  • These Knifes Rock!
Cut the negative crap on these knifes. I've had a set of these knifes for 2 years and they still rock! Very sharp and perfecto for the cooks! So, get off the negative side and use these knifes to their fullest potential....more info
  • Ratings- Miracle Blade Knives
The knives are "ok". Could get just as good knives at WalMart.
The warranty service is TERRIBLE! You will be saddened to know that you'll have to wait upwards of 2 months (maybe longer) to get your replacement knives. I have placed multiple phone calls to the customer service, only to state that they have not been shipped yet. (of course, the $5.00 shipping charge was IMMEDIATELY billed to my account). I would reccommend as a fellow consumer not to waste your time with these knives. Spend a few extra dollars and get a much better knife, all the meanwhile, not having to deal with the warranty/replacement "guarntee". You'll be upset. ...more info
  • A knife for everyone
These knives are very nice because they are so sharp. I find I never use the actual "miracle blade" only the other knives in the set, because it's just too long. I love the chopping and filet knives, and my husband loves the rock and chop blade. I just wish they came in a storage block....more info
  • Great Product
I have been using this miracle blade knife set for over three weeks and I am really impressed with them. I would certainly recommend it to everyone....more info
  • These are AMAZING
Well, I bought a set of these knives a few weeks ago and I just had to make sure that Chef Tony wasn't a big fat liar. I cut through about everything I could find. Damn was my wife pissed. It was worth is though. I now find myself using these knives for puposes other than cooking. I laid new carpet in my bedroom with their help. Simply amazing. I recommend these to anyone who needs a good knife, but don't be fooled by their use in the kitchen. Use them anywhere you want. Like butchering your own deer....more info
  • You get what you pay for - DON'T BUY THIS SET!!
My sister saw the TV ad and ordered the Miracle Blade III Set. Now I knew the said ad and when she told me I was amazed that she once again used TV shopping to buy cheap products who are no good. What can one expect for that price, it's just too good to be true so people should use common sense and be suspicious. And think about the costs of all these TV ads worldwide, they have to calculate that into the price too so one can imagine how much the actual production cost must be; no wonder they let them manufacture somewhere in China!
So the Set arrived and my sister used it often and was pleased at first. I'll admit the blades are razorsharp, be cautious when using them at first, but that's about it. After about 4 or 5 months they start to rust and they get dull too. Logos are falling off and they look terrible. The customer support is just plain awful; they didn't respond to several emails and when my sister tried to phone them she couldn't reach anyone besides the answering machine!!! In the end we didn't even try further to use the so called "lifetime warrant" and diposed the set.
Stay away from Miracle Blade, do yourself a favour and buy a real quality set, there are plenty around (I won't mention a name) and for 200$ you get a solid set which will really last for a lifetime.
Oh, and to other addicted online shoppers: please do some research on the Net before you pick up that phone and place your order. The ads look nice but these are all paid actors like the silly Chief Tony! ...more info
  • The best I've seen!!!
I don't know about the other reviews that say this knives aren't stainless steel, the labels fall off, or the filet knife breaks, but what it's for sure in my case is that these knifes work great. I don't go by fanciness nor brandy items... I WANT KNIVES THAT CUT nice and easy, and the Miracle Blade III are the best.

It's true, if you love your things just follow what says in the instructions manual. Don't dish wash your knives because in addition that they rust, they start to reduce their original sharpness. Even more, any knife will reduce their original sharpness no matter what the manufacturer says. Do not wash knives in the dishwasher or hand wash them with hot water.

All of my knives preserve their labels and looks like new, and I use them on a daily basis. Once again, it's a matter of following instructions.

My filet knife is in perfect condition. Common sense: Don't do everything what the infomercial shows. Don't bend the filet knife to verify that the guy on the infomercial's testimony is right. This knife cuts beautifully without too much bending.

Finally, I own this set of knives for two years and a half and they still cut as good as the first day I received them by mail. I live in Colombia, South America, where this product is not too cheap, so I had to think several times before I decided to make the call. Today, after two years and a half I don't regret of making that call, and I am very happy cooking with my Miracle Blade III knife set. Furthermore, I do recommend this knife set to anyone.... JUST FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS, that's all....more info
  • Best Knives Ever
My boyfriend told his entire family and the mailperson that his knives were arriving soon and he would make a fiesta. All of sudden the knives arrived and my boyfriend turned into a gourmet chef. Those knives have helped to make make me some great meals....more info
  • Extremely Sharp Knives!
I bought these knives for my girlfriend and WOW they are impressive. I actually cut my finger on the first day regardless of the repeated warnings. I have cut slices of bread in half and diced baby carrots. I've had no problems and it has a lifetime guarantee!...more info
  • great for the first month
I love to cook and a good knife will facilitate your cooking experience. The first time I used the miracle blade knives I was amazed by how sharp they were, but within a month or two the sharpness was not there anymore. The life-time guarantee is excellent but there is a shipping charge of about 6 dollars for a new set of 3 knives, and there are about 11 knives to replace. Like I said the knives are great when they are new, but the info-mercial is full of it. I dont cut hammers with them and they are still dull....more info
  • NEED A STORAGE BLOCK!!!
I have also heard wonderful things about this knife set, but they will do me no good without a block. I don't understand how Target can sell knives without one....more info
  • info question
read all the reviews, saw all the ads, does target have the knife block....more info
  • Best knife set ever!
I bought this set on TV and have been using them for a few months now. I am VERY happy with them. They work wonderful (better than I expected) and I am buying extra sets for my mother and sister. Worth every penny I spent (and more)...more info
  • dull
My steak knives are very dull. They have not rusted. I do wish they would make a reasonable block for them....more info
  • THEY ARE A MIRACLE
I purchased these knives with Christmas money from my mother in law. They are spectacular. I was so excited that I bought them online and went to UPS to pick them up! When I got them, I spent all night chopping stuff. I cut banannas in mid air, I cut leather steel-toed boots, I even used them to cut the bottom off of my Christmas Tree. I use these knives 20 times a day. The best knife is the Rock and Chop because it is so thick and heavy, but I use the rest as well. On the box, it states that they must be hand washed, which is no problem for me. I hand wash them with that same care that I would hand wash a baby. At $40, these are a great deal. I wish they would make a Premium Series with the blade all the way through the handles--maybe even wooden handles. They are guranteed, though, so no worrying about the blades breaking or falling out. I highly recommend these. ...more info
  • Reasonable quality bad service
They promise lifetime warranty and in their papers they say you pay 4.95 for shipping but they don't say it is only for 3 blades.
Plus when you ask for replacment they never replacment...more info
  • sharp enough to nearly kill my son
I got this set for my Bday 2 years ago. My son and his friend decided to play karate with the new knives. The friend pretended to stab him and my son pretended to kick the knife away, he ended up with a 2" deep cut, blood all over the kitchen and several stitches. I've since cut myself 3-4 times (no stitches though!) b/c I'm clumsy. They cut through tough things like sweet potatoes, almost with ease.
    These knives are sharp!!
    At first.

They dulled over time, but are still sharper than any other cheap knives I've had. They all have rust spots and the labels were stuck on with elmers glue.

I'd buy them again, unless I had $200 to kick out for a lifetime set. They don't do all they say on TV....more info
  • Best Knife - Hands Down
I have been a zoo keeper for 35+ years and have cut up a ton of different foods. These knives are without a doubt the best knives I have EVER used for this purpose. It cuts great, it feels good in the hand and stays sharp for years, even after extreme daily zoo use. My staff liked them so much they bought them for their own homes. The only problem they seem to have is, the name labels tend to fall off, but who cares. If you can't remember what the knife is for, you shouldn't have sharp objects....more info
  • What guarantee?
I purchased the set from t.v. The thin chopping blade broke in my hand. I contacted the company for a replacement in September 2004 and pre-paid for the shipping of the replacement. For 6 months I called almost daily and sent numerouse e-mails. It is now June 2007 and I have yet to receive the replacement. Don't fall for it like I did. Even when it was apparent that I was not going to receive the blade, I asked for a refund of my shipment payment and was denied that as well. Not only do they have cheap products, they will steal from you! ...more info
  • replacements after hirrican Katrina
I ordered your knife set after seeing them on TV. Hurricane Katrina swept away several pieces including a slicer, six steak knives and the wonderful scissors, the small paring knife and the knife block. Can you tell me the replacement costs of these pieces? I lost my home and everything in it so I cannot afford
    much.

I am anxiously awaiting your reply. Thank you.

  • Fantastic for the price!
For less than $50, I love these knives!

If you want the best sharp, rust-resistant knives, you need to buy a Wustof-Trident set for $400!

These knives are incredibly sharp (watch your fingers!), have a good variety of uses (I love the rock and chop!), and are great for the price. I've had mine for over 2 years and there is not a speck of rust on any of them. However, I hand wash and dry them, they never go in the dishwasher, and are always put back in the block completely dry! (I wouldn't machine wash an expensive set either!)

The few downfalls I can think of are these: they look cheap (they're your typical black plastic...not fancy dinner party material), and some are actually too sharp (I don't use the paring knife as I would the one in my other set...I can't cut towards my finger when peeling potatoes or veggies, because I will cut my finger).

I JUST LOVE MY SET OF KNIVES AND EVERYONE THAT COMES TO MY HOUSE AND SEES ME COOKING, THEY ASK WHERE I PURCHASE THEM....more info
  • Miracle Blade knife set
I've bought several expensive knife sets ($300) and was very displeased with them. I was constantly sharpening them. I couldn't even slice tomatoes nice. Since I bought the miracle blades I love using them. Especially the rock n chop very nice design. I've since bought 2 more sets for my daughters. Best knife set ever!...more info
  • These Knives are the Best
I have had mine for a year or more and their still going strong. No rust or anything of the sort. They're good for slicing up vegetables, meat, bread. A Miracle Blade slicer is a must own for home bread bakers. It slices the bread nice as seen on tv and doesn't make those tears and breadsticks way other knives do.The shears that come with the set are nice. I also got a miracle blade cutting board and knife block with mine. The shears are great for stripping meats like chicken and beef for stir fries as well as good for other household tasks too....more info
  • Get a life!
I don't know what you people are talking about. I just ordered my fourth set. They work great and I've never seen any rust. Maybe because of the infomercial, too much is expected.
One reviewer says that "After calling customer service everyday for almost six months ....."
Now really, I don't believe that. If it were true, I wouldn't admit it. Is that all you have to do with your life?
Just write it off and move on.
I was COMPLETELY satisfied with this product....more info
