  I bought this book for my son-in-law for Christmas. He likes trivia and so does my grandson who is 12. They read through the book on Christmas Day and had a great time looking up all kinds of records.

  I purchased this book for my 13 year old Granddaughter and she was thrilled with it. Her Step-Father and younger Brother immedietly snatched it up and had their noses buried in it for hours.

  The book arrived in very good shape and was purchased at an excellent price in comparison to how much it was in my local stores. The book did get lost during shipping, but I called Amazon and they resent the book immediately. It arrived the next day. I never did receive the first book that was shipped, but Amazon came through for me and resolved the issue with no hassle!...more info

• Ginness World Records 2009
  I purchased this book for my 8yr. old son for Christmas. He spent hours Christmas day simply looking through the book and sharing some of the facts that he learned. I am a firm believer that reading enriches the mind and why not give them something to read that is knowledge based and interesting facts that he can tell his friends.

• flashy, lots of photos and 3D
  We gave our son this book for his 10th birthday and he is enjoying it! It is much different than the World Book I had growing up. This version has lots of color photos and some 3D images. It definately catches the attention of a ten year old. One warning, there are a few photos and facts that are inappropriate for a child. ...more info
• my 9 year old loved it
  My 9 year old daughter had an old 1999 paperback copy of a Guiness Book Of World Records. She read it all the time, so I thought this would be a great gift. I couldn't have been more right! The 3-D pictures are really cool. She carried that book around all day showing pictures to everyone. I think it was her favorite Christmas gift, even beating out the Wii game she got!
  The only thing negative I can say is that it was hard to find the 3-D glasses (they are within the pages of the book) and they had to be put assembled (they are cardboard). It's not that big of a deal though.

  It took us awhile to find the 3-D glasses, but eventually we found them towards the middle of the book. The book is very "busy", but had a ton of fun interesting info. It was a gift for my nine year old nephew, and he was enjoying it....more info
