• We LOVE this book!
  My daughter and I have been reading Karen Katz books together since she was able to sit up. This is an excellent addition to our collection! My daughter is now two-and-a-half, and she just LOVES the lift-a-flaps in these books. We have been working on manners, so this book is perfect. After reading these books a few times together, my daughter is able to read it back to me from memory, and she feels so proud when she finishes a book by herself. • Great for a two year old
  This is an adorable book. The fact that it teaches manners is an added bonus. To me, the importance is that my two year old granddaughter can "read" it herself. At first I thought she could just give me the answers to the questions and that was cute enough. But then I overheard her "reading" it to her baby doll. What great self confidence this builds in a toddler. It is the best time to start building self esteem and making a child feel "smart"....more info

• Why does she like it?
  My 17 month old loves this book and has memorized all the answers. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it starts with 'Mommy says "Do you want peas for Breakfast?" You say "No, Thank you!" - I don't like this pg as I don't want her to learn to say 'No' to food (eventhough it's peas for bf) and currently her association of the word Thank you is when she recieves something ( I guess an older child will be able to distinguish). Besides, that page the rest is great....more info

• Nice introduction to manners
  I really like this book and so does my 2-year old daughter. It is simple and short. She has started using the phrases that it introduces and it is so nice to hear her say "Thank You" and "I'm Sorry" without prompting. I recommend it as a good reminder tool for kids....more info

• 1 1/2 year old's favorite book
  While I think the book will be terrific in a year to actually teach manners, at this point, my little guy is just entertained by the book. The pictures are simplistically expressive. He giggles every time we get to the second scenario (saying "Excuse me" when burping). He likes the participation of the turning pages. We typically end up reading this book 10 times a day, with my little fellow signing for more as I turn the last page.......more info

  After reading this book several times everyday, I have it completely memorized from front to back. But my 3 year old loves this book, and has for a long time.

  I originally purchased this book as a gift, thinking it was too "babyish" for my 2 1/2 yr. old. But he saw it and loved it! The words are so simple to read and understand that it has become a great learning tool as he begins to focus on the letters and sounds of words. Great pictures and great ideas.   I really like Karen Katz. I think her books are cute and sweet. This one is no exception. The only problem is, my baby isn't really all that interested in them! He's still young, so they don't hold his attention. He usually loves when I read to him, though... so it's strange! Oh well, I will try again when he's older maybe :)...more info
• Easy to read, fun book!
  This is one of two board books by Karen Zatz we bought for our 12 month old baby. The book is very easy to read with short questions like "You burped, what do you say"?
