Academy of Golf
Grand Cypress Academy of Golf offers a wide variety of year-round programs for golfers of all skill levels. Unlike traditional golf schools, the Academy allows students to practice new skills under actual playing conditions on its own three-hole (par 3, par 4, and par 5) golf course, which was also designed by Jack Nicklaus specifically for the Academy.
The Academy offers three full or half-day sessions, specialty schools for corporate groups, junior golfing sessions for those aged 6 to 16, and private hourly lessons. Teaching programs include instruction, video analysis, drills to encourage more effective swings, personal instruction notebook, unlimited range and practice balls, club cleaning, storage and daily refreshments.
By combining innovative computer technology, biomechanics and expert instruction, the Grand Cypress Academy of Golf offers the ultimate learning experience for golfers of all levels. Instructors Fred Griffin and Phil Rodgers, ranked as two of the top 100 golf instructors in the US by GOLF magazine, teach all aspects of the game at our permanent teaching facility.
From driving to putting and everything in-between, you will actually see your game improve with CompuSport - a revolutionary, advanced teaching tool which combines the science of sport biomechanics with video, computer graphics and professional instruction to obtain maximum performance results. Students receive computerized swing analysis and club fitting, and a videotape of lessons for play at home.

Junior Golf Schools
Enroll juniors aged 6 to 16 in our Junior Golf Schools, offered June through August 6th each summer. These five-day classes are perfect for players of all skill levels. They cover every aspect of the game including putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, full swing, rules, etiquette and playing. Box lunches and ice-cold beverages are included.
The programs are conducted from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Massage
Our professionally licensed, staff of massage therapists is available seven days a week. Many styles of massage exist but the two most common offered are Swedish massage, which features slow stokes and the use of oils and, secondly, neuro-muscular massage, which can aid in the rehabilitation of injuries or chronic stiffness.
The massage therapists work with specific muscle groups, loosening the muscles, creating greater flexibility and relieving muscle soreness.
The therapist can adapt the massage to suit executives who need stress relief, athletes who need neuro-muscular therapy or the individual who seeks total relaxation or enjoyment.
